Everything under the dashboard

MetersBoard is built for utilities that buy meters in phases, from more than one vendor, and cannot afford a head-end system per procurement round.

Open, interoperable architecture

Multi-vendor meter and HES support Open architecture avoids vendor and technology lock-in; supports MQTT, HTTP, CoAP and OPC-UA, for utilities procuring meters and head-end systems in phases from different vendors.
Works with or without HES or gateway Communicates directly with meters or through gateways and a HES equally well, giving deployment flexibility as networks evolve.
Meter commands Sends commands to individual or batched meters, manually or automatically: connect and disconnect, load limiting, tariff updates, firmware over the air, on-demand reads, time sync, prepaid and credit management.
Integration and middleware Microservices, APIs and custom middleware for integration with ERP, CRM, billing, GIS, OMS and field operation apps.

Enterprise data and analytics

Time-series database Handles inbound interval data and on-demand reads, with intervals as short as one second.
Enterprise scalability Built for tens of millions of meters; a single server node handles hundreds of thousands, with ingestion pipelines engineered for interval data.
Validation, editing and estimation Automated range and continuity checks, with estimation algorithms for missing or corrupt intervals.
Configurable rules engine Multi-step data processing that reacts automatically to telemetry and events.
Analytics and reporting Load profiling, load forecasting and transformer loading analysis, with dashboards for operational and management teams.

Billing and tariff management

Billing determinant engine Converts validated interval and register data into billing-ready determinants: kWh, kVAh, TOU slabs, power factor penalties, and off-peak and peak differentiation.
Handles tariff complexity Slab-based domestic tariffs, TOU industrial and commercial tariffs, and net-metering settlement logic.

Assets and compliance

Meter inventory and asset management Stock and warehouse tracking, procurement and vendor linkage, meter lifecycle status, installation records, meter-to-consumer binding history and field replacement workflows.
Built-in meters GIS Maps every meter to its precise location and network hierarchy, supporting spatial visualisation and geospatial planning.
Configurable data retention policy Aligned with billing-dispute windows and audit requirements.
The network model

Every reading knows where it came from

Eight levels, from the utility down to the individual customer. Names and depth are configured to match how your utility is actually organised. Pick a level.

Reach any meter, and know where it is

Meter commands. Disconnect, reconnect, limit load or push firmware to one meter or thousands — every instruction tracked from platform to meter and back.
Meters GIS. Every meter on the map with its live status, filtered by circle, division and feeder — field crews go straight to the right address.
